About Dental Care Niagara
DR. DANIELA MATIJEVIC DDS
Dr. Daniela Matijevic grew up in Croatia, where she resided until 1997 when her family moved to Canada due to civil war. She then, at the age of 18, learned to speak English and decided to go to university.
Dr. Daniela Matijevic received her undergraduate degree in Honours Chemistry and Biochemistry from University of Western Ontario. She was a gold medalist. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Shulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Matijevic spent first five years of her career associating in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake where she now lives with her family. She has a passion for learning and is continually taking on new educational endeavors to increase her skill capabilities. She has travelled extensively across the US and Canada studying esthetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Matijevic is a member of ODA, CDA, and AGD. She is a member of board of directors for the Niagara Peninsula Dental Association and active staff member for Greater Niagara General Hospital. She is enrolled in RNAGD study group, ICOI (implant) and IOI (ortho) organization.
Dr. Daniela loves art and enjoys oil painting. She spends her free weekends at her home studio expressing herself on the canvas. She is an avid tennis player. Recently, she excelled in the game of golf and skiing, her favorite outdoor activities. Wine, is the other of her passions, and she enjoys supporting her partner selling his wines domestically and internationally.
Dr. Matijevic loves and enjoys working with kids. She is excited and looks forward to serving the community and meeting and creating new smiles.
